Applying to Private Colleges???

If there are any private or independent colleges you plan on applying to, make sure you consider the following to avoid any surprises:

1. Visit each school's website to check their individual admission requirements. All schools are different so make sure you double-check your information for each school.
2. Start thinking about people you can ask for letters of recommendation. The people who know the most about your whole life, not just academics, can write the best letter.
3. When applying to schools that use the Common Application, check to ensure that you also have and additional supplemental forms that they might require.
4. Tripple-check each school's application deadline!!!!
